I think your web site cites some very real and very important concerns. Though never a victim of the pro-woman legal system myself, directly anyway, I have, as an attorney in N.Y., seen, first hand, all too much of just the sort of hyper-feminist truth distortion in the legal arena to be able to ignore it. I'm unfortunately at a loss as to exactly what to do about it, or even how to go about simply dealing with it. As I said above, I've not exactly been a direct victim. Rather, I've been all too often left feeling compromised in my profession, given the stranglehold that the feminist ideology has insidiously obtained over the legal profession. The truth-distortion and divisiveness of it all is absolutely unjust, and, in my opinion, very often illegal. My only reasons for writing were, firstly, to express empathy, and, secondly, to ask you to think, please, when criticizing lawyers. I note that you qualify your derogation of lawyers to "greedy lawyers", which is good, but, it would be better if you were to be more specific. Greed in the law is an evil of its own. The lawyers I would like to think are to be blamed with respect to the problems you address in this web page are, whether greedy or not, those who willingly distort the truth beyond what is moral or legal, all in the name of feminism, or its insidious power over society. I agree with what you have to say in this site. I just ask that you at least consider that there are also many lawyers out there who feel just as you do, and that if you trash them/us, as well, you risk loosing many who could be useful comrades. Thanks for posting these important thoughts. I am well aware that not all lawyers are greedy. Your comments are a shining example of a lawyer who is aware of the bad situation and lead me to believe that you are one who will stand up for what is right. Please let me clarify...I am referring to the ones that itemize bills to include worthless 5 minute phone calls that amount to $100 per call for speaking to the legal secretary about something that doesn't really matter in the first place. I have personal experience with quite a few of those lawyers, who in reality did NOTHING to protect my rights, or even advise me of my rights, but sent me one hell of a bill. I am talking about the ones who will try and talk a father into every other weekend and one night a week as being just the way it is or "this is all you will get from the judge". I hope this clears things up a little bit. |
