thanks for your response...I have forwarded your message to the other people I am working with here in south Carolina...we are beginning to join forces as there are several groups, pauls foundation, casa, s.c. family court reform, etc., each with individual mission statements but all seeking the same goal...family court reform

we have made judicial history in the past few weeks....a family court litigant who lost child custody, was ordered to pay child support and the spouse's attorneys fees, appealed the decision...she spent about $100,000, fighting the decision...the s.c. supreme court overturned the judge's order...they said the litigant's rights to due process were denied...he was removed from the bench by the state legislators, who elect judges in our state...the judge then signed up to run again for reelection...he must be approved by a judicial merit committee before the legislators vote...

over a dozen litigants who had appeared before this judge traveled to the capital to testify before a senate committee and make known their opposition to his reelection...this was unprecedented...and we hope, only the beginning...

the committee will make known its decision tomorrow as to whether they recommend this judge....whatever the outcome, we all agree this is just the start and we intend to pursue the removal of any and all judges who do not respect the rights of family court litigants, disregard the rules of the court and the laws, and who make decisions which are biased and harmful to children...

I will contact the Denver group...I lived in Colorado for many years and graduated from the university of Colorado in boulder...I was a foster parent to dozens of abused children and very active ...I have already contacted yourself and also the Nevada coalition...

as individuals in each state, we can accomplish much, but if we join forces and begin to function on a national level, our voices will be stronger...I hear the same horror stories of judicial abuse from each state I investigate...

I hope to eventually bring these issues, i.e. the right to jury trial, etc. before the supreme court...which will only become a reality if each and every person appeals their case all the way up the ladder...

and then there is also the possibility of a class action of some sort to bring about uniform changes in the family courts of our country...

I look forward to hearing more about your efforts, the impeachment petitions and all...please let me hear from you soon...

thank you and good luck
