Has anymore become of this? I haven't dealt with much on these issues. I consider myself lucky. I do see and here a lot about them. I feel a lot of compassion for the father's that truly love their children and are torn apart from them and made to pay ridiculous amounts of child support! We really do need revised laws. What has Michael O'Pake said about this? Tim Holden? When children leave the nest or are thrown out at 18, parents are not held responsible for what occurs. Why when there is divorce is the significant other responsible for the other adult? This isn't the old days when a woman didn't have equal opportunity to go out and work. What prima dona feels she is entitled to a cushioned life and everything go in her favor? It should be no more than a 6 month deal to adjust, whichever partner that may apply to. Deal with it adjust, get on with life. You don't have to be best friends, just civil for the children's sake. I feel each case should be based on the circumstances, voices of both parties should be heard. Support if any accordingly. I'd like to know if the courts have been treating father's more fairly! I think the judges make decisions based on how their day is going.
