Dear David,

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I just came off of your site "Pennsylvania Family Court Reform". I was searching for material concerning "unfair practices of Domestic Relations system in PA" to see if anyone out there, felt as I did. I went through your site from top to bottom, after reading your the editors views, I was to say the least, exhilarated. You said everything I've been thinking and speaking about since that horrific first day in Domestic Relations. (To my surprise, majority of D.R. "officers" are women, needless to say, I didn't know what hit me)

The corruption is rampant in this state, as far as child support is concerned, in my opinion. Please believe me when I tell you, ALL of my friends, male and female will know about your site.

May I offer your readers some advice, in my case, the "officer" assumed, I would be taking the "normal" route of visitation, every other week and maybe an occasional day through the week. So my support was based on that assumption. Never asking for clarification from my attorney, myself or my ex. When I came out of my first meeting with them, I suggested to my attorney (a female) that the amount was excessive, her reply was, no that's not possible, because they have a "formula" they go by. This bothered me to the extent of writing a letter to my Domestic Relations officer and making sure their calculation was based on, custody every weekend, 3 days out of 7. I was told an error was made, not any mistake on their part, that my support would be amended. So future clients beware. Low and behold, they do make mistakes.

Sorry for babbling, I think about this garbage constantly, people tell me, "let it go, it's not healthy" I tell them that's a little difficult to do, since a receive a bi-monthly reminder on my pay stub.

It's nice to know someone had the balls to put down their frustrations in black and white.
