Texas Father Faces Jail As Political Prisoner An unemployed father is about to become another casualty in the ongoing Family Court war against fathers. Jim Loose, 47, a former executive recruiter and author of the recently published novel "My Father's Eyes," faces up to six months in a Fort Worth, Texas, jail for being behind in his child support payments. "I'm behind on my child support because I've been unemployed for over a year," Loose said. "I've complied with the Texas Attorney General's process for administrative review of cases like mine, but they've done nothing [to remedy the situation]." Loose's former attorney never filed a request to modify his child support payments when he became unemployed due to the economic downturn, which had significantly dried up the demand for executive recruitment. According to Loose's current court-appointed attorney, David Wynne of Fort Worth, Wynne learned that the court considers that Loose had "ruffled their feathers." "This is the real story here," Loose said. "The judges of the 325th are gender-bigots. This is well known in the legal community [here] and is captured in the expression, 'mommy's court,' which is how family law attorneys refer to the 325th. "'Mommy's court' is a contradiction in terms. What if we had a 'white person's court' or a 'gentile's court'? Can you imagine the outrage? The gender bias of the 325th is just as wrong. Because I've actively opposed their gender-biased way of administering child custody, they're targeting me. It's that simple." Loose, comparing himself to a political prisoner, has announced he will openly defy the 325th Court by going on a hunger strike if the judge jails him or if she further reduces his and his four-year-old daughter's limited time together. Loose has custody of his daughter, Madeleine, only five days in a typical month. The hearing on these issues is currently scheduled for Friday, December 12 in Fort Worth but may be continued on a technicality. Loose, with a large corps of supporters in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, serves on the Board Of Directors of the nationally known children's interest nonprofits The National Center For Educational Accountability and the I Have A Dream Foundation - Dallas
