I just read a long letter from a man to the committee governing child support and I am sooo in agreement with it. I am a little different from the author, however, as I am a MOTHER paying support for a child I do not see very often (not by choice, by geography).

I have a domestic relations case in Cumberland county.....two months ago I filed for a decrease, but they found that an INCREASE was in order!!! My ex decided (how gracious of him) NOT to initiate the increase....this is the second time in three years I have petitioned for a decrease and they actually wanted to increase it! (Both times the ex said "no"). However, NOW, he DOES want the increase, after thinking about it for two months and getting heat from his wife.....is there a time limit for going back to court and going through this over and over again? How often can a person be dragged back into court? I have to drive five hours round trip each time, miss work and have to pay gas and expenses!

Any information that you can give me would be appreciated. I reside in Blair county.
