I am the mother of four children and I have one stepson to which my husband
pays support. I am so fed up with it, I have now ,as of today, washed my hands
of the situation. I can no longer be a rock for my husband to lean on. Between
Montgomery County Domestic Relations dealings and my husband's ex -wife and his
ex father in law, I am completely drained. Since day one, I have been the
mediator. I have dealt with all the shenanigans with Domestic Relations and his
ex-wife trying and trying to smooth over a very rocky road! I am fed up with
judges forcing my husband to pay more and more money to a woman who cannot even
put her priorities in order. My husband should not have to pay more and more
because his ex-wife cannot even put a roof over her children's head, yet she
works full time and receives over 1000.00 a month in support from my husband and
another man! I mean we are talking a 34 yr old woman who got evicted after being
5 months late on her rent. Now she lives with her mommy and sent my stepson to
live with her dad (my stepson's grandfather). I, being a fulltime mom, and my
husband, are willing to take the child in for a while til she gets her life
straightened, BUT OH NO, she just can't do that, then she wouldn't get the child
support money! Instead she collects child support and the child stays with the
grandfather now. Well I received a phone call from the mother's father
(stepson's grandfather). He has now told me to BUTT OUT and called me a LOSER
and said I had no right having four children because my husband has to support
his FIRST child and that's all he should do. Well my husband has FIVE children,
not just one ! Well I have gone thru 11 years of seeing my husband encounter
court date after court date, only to lose and be called a deadbeat because he
appeals the amount every time. MY HUSBAND IS AN UPSTANDING CITIZEN WHO HAS
PROVIDED WELL FOR ALL HIS FAMILY. I am tired of his ex wife refusing visitation.
(my husband was refused for 7 years to see his son) . I am tired of dishing out
thousands of dollars to useless lawyers. I am tired of my children asking why
daddy has to court, why daddy and his ex-wife argue, why this , why that. I am
tired of his ex-wife's broken promises, I am tired of seeing my stepson hopping
from place to place because his mother can't get her life straight. I am tired
of counselors saying this child is better off with his mother. I can only count
the days til this child is 18. I am fed up with Pennsylvania, the lawyers, the
judges, the irresponsible mothers, and the money making child support scam!!
