RE: Domestic Relations Procedural Rules Committee Review of Child Support Guidelines; Recommendation 67

Dear Sir or Madam:

Please consider this an official written request for information from the Department of Public Welfare, I would like to obtain copies of the following documents:

1. The contract the Department of Public Welfare entered into Policy Studies, Inc. and/or Jane C. Venohr, to perform a review/study of the Pennsylvania Child Support Guidelines. 2. All invoices submitted to the Department of Public Welfare by Policy Studies, Inc per this contract. 3. A copy of all studies/reports submitted by Policy Studies, Inc. per this contract 4. Any other contracts the Department of Welfare entered into with experts, or consultants to perform a review/study of the Pennsylvania Child Support Guidelines and corresponding invoices and studies/reports. 5. Any economic studies that contain spending habits which may impact child support guidelines amounts.

I believe the above documents constitute public records pursuant to Pennsylvania's Right to Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 66.1-66.4. You may contact me at by mail at 65 Midland Heights Apt F, Midland, PA 15059 or calling 724-643-9219 regarding arrangements for the disclosure of the information.

If you decide to refuse this request or any part thereof, please provide me with a written statement of the reasons for denial. If your denial is based upon a statute or regulation, please cite that law, including the specific section or sections you rely upon, in your written response.

I look forward to the Department of Public Welfare making this information available to me by February 9, 2004.
