Patricia A. Miles, Esquire
Re; Complaint Support Guidelines
Ms Miles,
Carol Hess, Acting Operation Manager, Bureau of Child Support enforcement, suggested I communicate with you directly. She suggested that they receive numerous complaints about the guidelines and they are suggested to contact your office. I am requesting information in regards to how you log these complaints and how many complaints there have been over the past year about the guidelines.
If your office has received numerous complaints as stated from the Bureau, I would imagine your office should log these complaints and they are public information.
In regards to the guidelines and the current proposed guidelines:
· The guidelines don’t take into account the reasonable cost to raise a child. · The guidelines are easily 40% to high. · Guidelines do not conform to the Pennsylvania Constitution · Guidelines represented are developed by Judges and Attorneys creating a conflict of interest · The Guidelines do not consider if a parent has a child from two different parties and chooses to collect monies from one and not the other. The cost to raise a child fly’s out the window
Can you make me aware of the Supreme Court Justice who oversees your office and the committee.
I appreciate your response.
Sincerely,
Brian Slusaw |
